Beloved, the open door in heaven was not opened because John was strong that day. It was opened because God had already decided to speak. Your part is not to force the door — your part is to answer the voice.
Many of us arrive at mid-week already spent. The week has taken more than it gave. But prayer is not a reward for a good week; it is the mercy that repairs a hard one. Come as you are, and let the Upper Room do what striving cannot.
This week, resist the temptation to pray only about what is urgent. Give God the first ten minutes for worship before you bring Him a single request. Fruitfulness follows fellowship — never the other way round.
